Open house on Aug 4, 5 & 6th from 2:00-4:00pm. What was once the City’s water supply source is now a compact but vital fish hatchery tucked away at the foot of the Bench. A Hands-on experience to learn about the life cycle of salmon.

Location: 3900 Block Eby Street – Eby Street Hatchery – (end of Eby street in horseshoe)
What was once the City’s water supply source is now a compact but vital fish hatchery tucked away at the foot of the Bench. Hatchery volunteers will explain how the hatchery works, the taking of coho salmon brood stock, taking of eggs, raising of fry to smolts and their release back into their original local rivers. A Hands-on experience to learn about the life cycle of salmon.
